ปลากระเบนโมโตโร่ (Ocellate river stingray) ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ Potamotrygon motoro เป็นปลากระเบนน้ำจืด ถิ่นกำเนิดในทวีปอเมริกาใต้ เปรู, อุรุกวัย, โคลัมเบีย, โบลิเวีย, อาร์เจนตินา, บราซิล มีลักษณะตัวกลมแบนหางสั้น มีตาโผล่จากด้านหลังของลำตัว ผิวลำตัวสีน้ำตาลอ่อนหรือเข้ม มีจุดกลมสีส้มอมเหลืองวงรอบด้วยสีน้ำตาลเข้มกระจายไปจนถึงโคนหาง มีเงี่ยงแหลมคม 2 ชิ้นที่โคนหาง ที่ปลายหางมีริ้วหนังบาง ๆ โดยที่จุดกลมเหล่านี้จะแตกต่างและมีปริมาณมากน้อยไม่เท่ากันในแต่ละตัว โตเต็มที่มีความกว้างของลำตัวประมาณ 1 เมตร น้ำหนักประมาณ 15 กิโลกรัม
Ocellate river stingray (Potamotrygon motoro), is a species of freshwater stingray, ranging throughout much of the Río de la Plata, Amazon, Mearim and Orinoco basins in tropical and subtropical South America. Its disk is roughly circular in shape, and its eyes are raised from the dorsal surface. The dorsal coloration is typically beige or brown, with numerous yellow-orange spots with dark rings. Ocellate river stingray can grow up to 1 m in disc width, 1 m in 15 kg in weigh.
